About

Daniel Barnette

Welcome to the vbarneeze blog! Wondering about the name? It’s a nod to an old nickname derived from my last name, but the real value lies in the content. Dive into insightful blog and how-to posts centered around a range of Dell Technologies products and solutions.

As a Senior Principal Engineer – Feature Architect in the VxRail and Multi-Cloud Platforms business unit, I lead VMware-focused initiatives for VxRail and VCF on VxRail, emphasizing Dell-VMware co-engineered solutions. With 13 years at Dell Technologies (EMC -> VCE -> Dell EMC -> Dell Technologies), I’ve navigated various roles, business units, and products, always prioritizing VMware-based virtualization integration with Dell Technologies platforms.

Before my current role with VxRail, I served as the lead virtualization architect for the Converged Infrastructure business unit, where I led the architecture and engineering of the Dell Technologies VxBlock 1000.
